Ursuline Chapel

Ursuline Chapel

The Ursuline Centre provides the celebration of weekly Catholic Mass in our Chapel on Sundays at 10:00am.

Located on the 3rd floor, the jewel of the Ursuline Centre is the exquisitely beautiful chapel which has graced this historic structure since 1912. The murals of Saint Ursula and Saint Angela Merici, painted on canvas by Mother Raphael Schweda, were hung in 1927.

Drop-off and elevator access for the elderly or handicapped is available through our back door, accessible via Ursuline Drive and our back parking lot.

Memorial Masses

The Ursuline Chapel offers the opportunity to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. This cherished practice is centered in the belief that the Eucharist, through its offering, brings spiritual benefits to the deceased and their family.

Memorial masses can be scheduled for most Sundays, given two-week’s notice, by calling our office at (406) 452-8585 or by contacting us here. A good-will offering or donation to the Ursuline Chapel is suggested.

Volunteering for the Celebration of Mass

Lectors

Volunteering as a Lector is a unique and special way to present the Word of God to the Ursuline Chapel community. Lectors prepare scripture readings for the Sundays they are scheduled. If you’re interested in becoming a Lector, please contact us!

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers must be a practicing Roman Catholic and in full communion with the Catholic church. Volunteers receive training to assist the presiding priest with offering Eucharist to mass goers of Ursuline Chapel. Eucharistic Ministers check in with the Sacristan or presiding priest fifteen minutes prior to the beginning of Mass to receive any special instructions or changes. Eucharistic Ministers may also volunteer to bring Eucharist to sick and homebound Chapel attendees.
If you are interested in serving in the celebration of Mass, please contact us.

Contribute to Mass

Maintaining and caring for the Ursuline Chapel is funded entirely through the generosity of our faithful Chapel congregation and donors whose steadfast support allows us to maintain and grow our vital ministries, programs and Ursuline-sponsored preschool program.  Stewardship through offertory is defined as a response to God for all of the blessings we have received.
If you are unable to attend Mass, you have the convenient option of contributing to the offertory online if you so wish. Click here to safely and securely contribute by Venmo, Paypal or Amplify.
